Project Details
The George Cromwell Center
This emergency contract consisted of the controlled demolition and removal of approximately a 5000sf section of the existing building and pier which had partially collapsed in the surrounding water. This involved cutting the entire building fabric along a safe line to separate the damaged section from the portion of the building which was to be maintained. Following this Brickens worked alongside Weeks Marine- a marine demolition specialist to remove, separate and dispose of the material from the damaged section of the building. We were then tasked with securing the building by constructing a new weather tight curtain wall with a metal clad façade.
