Heritage Field

Constructed on the site of the Old Yankee Stadium, Heritage Field is a state of the art recreational facility which includes an all-weather soccer field surround by a 400-meter competition track; four basketball courts; eight handball courts; three new grass ball fields and an exciting new pedestrian plaza. Brickens Construction were enlisted by Hunter Roberts on behalf of NYC EDC to provide the project with a modern comfort station which would tend to the needs of the local community who utilize the facility. The structure consisted of a combination of brick and clerestory translucent panels on the façade with an aluminum clad standing seam roof. Inside the structure contained male and female bathrooms, changing facilities as well as a mechanical room to operate all services.
