Queens South Task Force

Completed in June 2004, this project located in Rosedale, NY consisted of the construction of a new 14,000SF facility for the NYPD.

The exterior façade of the building incorporated a combination of red brick and ground faced block with a metal standing seam roof enclosing a mechanical mezzanine which housed all the mechanical equipment for the facility.

The interior of the building consisted of reinforced masonry partitions which formed offices, storage areas and detention cells. Finishes within the building contained terrazzo flooring, tamper-proof ceilings and doors and premium grade millwork.

A new parking area was also constructed adjacent to the structure with the capacity for 120 vehicles. These design features coupled with new sidewalk construction, ornamental fencing and landscaping produced both an inviting and practical facility.
